The Gastonia Fire Department performs foster home inspections as a courtesy to our citizens, and is free of charge.

Before filling out the below form and submitting it to the Fire Marshal's Office, please make sure:

1. you reside inside the city limits of Gastonia (if you do not you will need to contact the jurisdiction you live in).

2. have the state foster home fire inspection form given to you by your licensing agency.

3. have completed EVERYTHING that is listed on the fire inspection form including: having a newly purchased or professionally serviced fire extinguisher, evacuation plan posted, emergency numbers posted, and additional items on the fire inspection form. 

If you have the above criteria finished, fill out the form below and someone from the Fire Marshal's Office will contact you to discuss scheduling the inspection.

Please complete ALL of the information.

The Gastonia Fire Department will do everything possible to get to your inspection request as soon as possible, however please allow 4 to 5 business days between your request and an inspector contacting you.
