Thank you for your interest in our for-credit cultural exchange and immersion program. Our offer is for Academic credit for World Language and Social Studies as it pertains directly to the trip and we can extend to any other professional certification (such as a administration level) for the teacher shadowing, otherwise the credit can be used for General Credits. The trip is about 14 days including airfare, room and board for most breakfasts and lunches while in Cusco and Sacred Valley, and then the homestay component while with our Sister Cities in Surco. Our preference will be for Gaston County teachers who can utilize the immersion experience to enhance Gaston County school students' learning while in Gaston County classrooms. Housing will likely be dual occupancy for hotels and homestay details will be shared at a later date. Space is limited and first come first serve. We will travel with the Sister Cities students and chaperones to keep the trip costs affordable. Access to the culture classes (as part of the Sister Cities Ambassador Program for students) will be available to all the trip participants. You will represent Gastonia, Gaston County and Sister Cities while on the trip.
